What Data We Collect
We collect only the data strictly necessary:
- Newsletter: your email address, given voluntarily when you subscribe. We also record the date and IP address of the subscription and of its confirmation, as proof of consent
- Orders: name, delivery address, email and payment details (processed by certified providers)
- Contact: the details you provide when you message us
How We Use the Data
- Sending the newsletter (on the basis of your consent)
- Processing and delivering orders (performance of a contract)
- Replying to enquiries and after-sales support
- Meeting legal and tax obligations
We never sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Processors
To run the site we use providers who process data on our behalf, under processing agreements and only on our instructions:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — hosting of the subscriber list and sending of the newsletter. Data is processed within the European Union. Privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy
The newsletter uses double opt-in: after submitting your email you receive a message asking you to confirm, and you only join the list if you do. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every message.
Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@kinferments.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.
Cookies
This site uses only essential technical cookies needed for it to work (no tracking or advertising cookies). If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent.
Data Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Order data is kept for the period required by law (ten years for tax purposes). Contact details are deleted once they're no longer needed.
